Skills Expenditure
In order to obtain the 25 skills development points available on a company’s BEE scorecard, a company must spend 6% of leviable payroll on training. This training includes the following:
Spend on black people.
85% on accredited courses (category B, C, D or E) - BrainTrust’s NQF 4 and NQF 5 Real Estate learnerships full into this category.
15% on non-accredited courses (other categories).
The 6% training spend must be split according to the economically active population (EAP) published by STATS SA for South Africa.
Category D Accredited Courses
BrainTrust offers category D, NQF Level accredited courses under registered learnerships. BrainTrust’s registered Real Estate learnerships can be offered to:
Employees of the company.
Unemployed black and unemployed black female youth for maximum BEE scorecard enhancement if the EAP split cannot be achieved internally. These unemployed individuals may be sourced by BrainTrust if required.
